Img51.pngFleas have plagued pets and humans for centuries.  They are responsible for spreading illnesses and plagues and continue to make our lives miserable.

Fleas suck the blood from our pets and in severe infestations can actually make them anemic and kill them.  Fleas also contribute to secondary infestations of that can also kill your pet and likewise be transmitted to humans.

Today there are many ways to prevent fleas and from feeding off your pet and infesting your home both naturally and with topical chemical treatments.  Every dog is different and what works best without causing a harmful reaction in one dog might not work for another.  Therefore, please discuss treatments with your veterinarian and thoroughly investigate the treatment you choose prior to administering it to you pet.

Just because a product is labeled "natural" or sold in a store or veterinary office does not make it safe for every pet.  There can be severe adverse reactions to these products including death of the treated animal.  Also, never combine treatments such as bathing the pet in flea shampoo and then administering a flea treatment.
